Juniors Coordinator Kaleigh Lopez & Head Coach Ashley Prince

Kaleigh brings nearly two decades of experience to Pearl Beach Juniors.

At just 8 years old, Kaleigh’s volleyball career began. She was a valuable asset to the clubs she played indoor for, which include Oklahoma Peak Performance and Oklahoma Charge Volleyball Club. While she attended Edmond North High School, she led her team in kills, aces and digs. Kaleigh was chosen as a tournament-wide MVP her sophomore year for what she brought to the court and for her exemplary sportsmanship. After a very successful indoor career, Kaleigh decided to pursue sand volleyball and put her full focus into it. Being
their first ever sand volleyball player in Oklahoma, Kaleigh helped build a strong foundation and establish Stingray’s club program. Kaleigh began traveling to qualifiers and making a strong impact in the sand as she medaled in various tournaments and qualifiers! She wanted to share her love and knowledge for the game and began coaching with Stingray and the YMCA. Multiple players who have trained and played for Kaleigh are now playing college ball on scholarships. For the last 5 years, Kaleigh has been the director and coordinator of adult volleyball leagues with OSSO Sports & Social. She is still playing indoor & sand volleyball in leagues and in tournaments on a weekly basis. Pursuing sand volleyball competitively still, she was invited to start competing in AVP Open tournaments this summer. Kaleigh brings knowledge,
passion and years of experience and is looking forward to sharing her love of the game and helping shape the next generation of volleyball athletes!

Meet Coach Prince! Ashley owns significant sand experience.
In 2012, the NCAA sanctioned beach volleyball as a collegiate sport and Ashley was one of the first-ever signed athletes, receiving a full-ride scholarship to Florida International University in Miami. She began her beach volleyball career with Club 692 in Lewisville, TX, where she was recognized as one of their top players early on.
Ashley has participated in many USA Volleyball High Performance invite-only and USAV Beach events. She has also trained at the Olympic training center in Chula Vista multiple times. Ashley has been invited to train with Misty May-Treanor many times, as well as attending her M2 clinics. At the U18 AAU Beach National Doubles Qualifier, Ashley placed first, and she finished second at the USAV Beach Junior National Championships, both in Chicago. She won the bronze medal at the 2011 AAU Junior Olympics, as well as placing fifth at the USA Beach High Performance Championships. Ashley was 1 of 10 girls chosen to represent USA Volleyball in the 2010 bilateral presidential exchange in Russia, where she competed and trained with both countries top athletes and coaches. After high school, Ashley competed professionally in Florida on the Dig the Beach Tour where she and her partner finished top 3 at every tour stop, despite being the youngest competitors. Ashley is currently still pursuing beach volleyball competitively.
Ashley has been studying the game and playing at the top levels nationally and internationally for over ten years and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for the game with the future generations of beach volleyball players!
